Ta Da! Here is my idea for our Breakfast Nook:
I love the Mid Century Modern elements in the planter & Eames reproduction chair/bird. I like how the bright colors of the fabric contrast with the more rustic wood art and farmhouse table. Throw in some pretty-pretty with the painted buffet table and capiz shell chandelier and I'm in heaven! Our next home will have a Great Room set up with the Living Room, Kitchen, & Nook in an open format. I wanted to bring in the same paint colors from the Kitchen but add in more pops of charcoal.
Here are the sources:
- Martha Stewart Paint in Sharkey Gray
- Martha Stewart Paint in Rainwater
- Behr Charcoal Gray
- Benjamin Moore in Hawthorne Yellow
- Capiz Chandelier from West Elm I actually plan to make my own using the wax paper method but this is the inspiration
- Joel Dewberry Modern Meadow Herringbone fabric in Pond from Etsy seller The Needle Shop
- V & Co Fabric Diamonds in White Mustard from Lilly Bella Fabrics I've purchased from them before and they are wonderful! Coincidentally they are located in the town we are hoping to move to. I am lucky enough to only live 15 minutes away from their Home Base & was able to pick up the fabric right away. I highly recommend them!
- Dwell Studio Fabric in Bella Porte Charcoal
- 5" Plank Engineered Hardwood in Vicksburg Espresso from Shaw Floors
- Retro Bullet Planter by Hip Haven in Turquoise & Coral
- Random Farmhouse table :) I'm really tempted to make the one from Shanty 2 Chic though.
- Eames inspired Ronnie Wire Base White Chairs from Overstock
- Random Wood signage...saying is No Whining, Be Happy, Do Your Own Thing, Enjoy Life, Dream Big, Kiss...found this on Pinterest but no link to the original. Should be easy to recreate.
- Update an older buffet table or sideboard with a bold color
- Awesome Ballard Design inspired shelves from House of Smiths. Such a great blog!
- Pallet Wood Sign from Blooming Homestead
- Eames inspired decorative bird from Click On Furniture
Thanks for stopping by!
